Transcripts: Text generated from audio to power understanding and response.
Derived Metrics: Emotion signals or focus indicators derived from tone and pitch analysis.
Device Data: Microphone access status, input quality, and timestamps.

How Data is Used

To process and respond to voice interactions.
To generate learning insights (for example, tracking speaking confidence or focus).

Safeguards and Controls

Audio and transcript data are encrypted in transit and stored securely.
Voice data is retained only as long as required to provide feedback and is then deleted or anonymized.
No voice data is shared externally or used for advertising or biometric identification.
Access to the microphone requires explicit device permission. Users can revoke this anytime.

School Accounts

For school sessions, Vibe operates in restricted mode where no personal audio is stored beyond temporary processing.

Across all Gyanis features:

No personal information is sold or shared with advertisers.
Student accounts require parental or school consent when applicable.
All content generated or uploaded remains under user or school ownership, as defined in Terms of Use.
Users may request deletion or correction of data by contacting support@gyanis.ai.
Data security measures include encryption, access control, and continuous monitoring.

Legal and Regional Compliance

For users in India, Gyanis handles personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
